I knew that I wanted to become a dentist from the time I was twelve years old. There is nothing quite as rewarding as going off to your “hobby” daily. I have never seen it as a job. I have truly been enriched over the past thirty years of practice by sharing in the lives of my patients.
I was born in Anaheim, California. In 1971, I moved to Fullerton with my family.I attended Ladera Vista Junior High School, and graduated from Sunny Hills High School. Later, I attended USC and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1981. I continued my education at the USC School of Dentistry and graduated in 1985 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
While attending Sunny Hills High School, I met my future wife, Laura. Though she is a UCLA graduate and is a die-hard UCLA fan, she attended USC Law School. During a summer school break, we married in 1982. We have a daughter, Mandy and a son, Mike.
