Dr. Kelk received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Tehran University in 1992 & her fellowship degree in dental implants from Loma Linda University in 1996. She then did her specialty training at the Advanced Periodontics Department at Loma Linda University & received her specialty degree in 1999.

Dr. Huang joined Chu & Yang Dental in 2013 and she is the newest dentist to join the practice. She studied public health at Loma Linda University, School of Public Health before entering dental school. She received her dental degree at Western University, College of Dental Medicine, as part of the inaugural class. After graduation, Dr. Huang worked in an underserved area in Central California before joining Dr. Chu and Dr. Yang’s private practice in Orange County. In 2014, Dr. Huang joined the dental faculty as Assistant Clinical Professor at Western University, College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Victor has been practicing dentistry for nearly a decade. As the son of Dr. Chu and Dr. Yang, he grew up with a deep understanding of helping people through dentistry. He received his degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Vic attended a one-year general practice residency at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was trained to handle severely medically compromised patients as well as patients with facial traumas that affected their dentition. During this residency, Dr. Vic gave several continuing education lectures to the local dental community and had an article published in the Hawaii Dental Journal on the effects of bisphosphonate treatment on dental patients.

Dr. Chu has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years. After graduating from the USC School of Dentistry in 1982, he continued his specialty training at USC for an additional two years to become a periodontist, a specialist that deals with the treatment of the diseases associated with the gums and bones – the foundation of a healthy smile. Dr. Chu was a clinical assistant professor for the department of periodontology at USC and an assistant professor at Loma Linda where he taught at the graduate and post-graduate levels.

After many years in my profession I still genuinely enjoy what I do as a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that I’ve built with my patients and their families are one in a million! It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve. Even when I’m not at the practice, I am still surrounded by happy, bright smiles! I spend most of my free time with my family.

Dr. Stephen Alfano leads the team and ensures each patient receives the care they need and deserve. He’s been practicing as a dentist for 24 years after earning his degree from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio.

Dr. Tassey’s undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Southern California and had a private practice in Irvine since 1982. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, and The Orange County Dental Society.

Dr. Hahn was born in New York City and raised in Newport Beach, California. He is a noted expert and specialist in Advanced Prosthodontics and General Dentistry.

Kim N. Pham, DMD is an Orange County native who grew up around the magical kingdom of Disneyland. Dr. Pham has been practicing dentistry since 2003. She graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Irvine. Pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist, Dr. Pham attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and obtained her doctorate in 2003 with high clinical honors.

Dr. Dean Dai is a highly trained Prosthodontist with over 15 years of working experience and has been working out of the Huntington Beach dental office for 10 years now. A prosthodontist is one of only 9 recognized specialties by the American Dental Association, in Dental implant restorations, Esthetic dentistry, Dentures, Veneers and Full mouth reconstructions. Drawing on his extensive training and artistic vision, Dr. Dai delivers outstanding results with meticulous care.

Stacy received her Registered Dental Hygienist license at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, California Dental Hygienists’ Association, and Orange County Hygiene Society.

Dr. Phuoc H. Phan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1998. He then continued on to the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis to receive his Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate of Specialization in Endodontics in 2000.
