Dr. Reitz earned his doctorate of dental surgery from USC in 2012. He was drawn to dentistry from a young age having always enjoyed his relationship with his childhood dentist and orthodontist. He is gratified by his ability to partner with people and transform lives. He appreciates how dentistry blends his giftedness for detail and artistry. Dr. Reitz loves to educate people about new technology and the many advancements in dentistry.

Dr. Edward Huster has been practicing dentistry in Newport Beach since 1982. Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of Penn State University, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Georgetown University. Dr. Huster is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. His exquisite dental work and gentle manner are just two reasons why so many of his patients have been coming to him for over 30 years.

A second generation dentist, studied biology and art at UCSB, dentistry allows him to combine both of these, fellow of international congress of oral implantologists, has traveled around the country teaching other dentists the art and science of cosmetic dentistry, focus is on creating and stable functional foundation so the cosmetic dentistry we do is as predictable and long lasting as possible.

Dr. Burkholder traveled to Western Europe, finding a job in the Northern Swiss town of Schaffhausen. Along with his many travels through Western Europe and the Mediterranean, he worked within the entire “Canton” of Schaffhausen for 2 years, traveling from village to village, working on school age children ages 4 to 17. Either working in the Clinic Wagon, or within the school house clinics, Dr. Burkholder’s goal was to eradicate dental decay within his areas of responsibility through comprehensive care and a strong preventive program. These children were well prepared for an adult life of excellent dental health, along with a positive attitude towards dentistry.

Dr. Burkholder was born in Augsburg, Germany at the US Army base in 1952, and thereafter lived in Oklahoma, California, and Washington. He grew up primarily in the small town of Lacey, Washington and graduated from North Thurston High School in 1970. In 1974 he received his BA degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry at Central Washington State College in Ellensburg, Washington.

Originally from Yuma, Arizona, Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in exercise physiology from Chapman University in Orange, California, where he also played varsity football. Prior to attending dental school, Michael worked as a personal fitness trainer and high school football coach, helping many people attain healthier lifestyles. Michael went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he developed a special interest for prosthodontics and implant dentistry, spending extra time working with various faculty members on advanced cases. To this day, Michael continues to attend classes around the country in order to strengthen his background in prosthodontics and implantology.

Dr. Martin Rovira was born and raised in Southern California, living mostly in Irvine. In fact, he played football and ran track at Irvine High School. He went on to obtain his undergraduate education at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona as A physiology major. While there, he became an avid fan of their sports teams. Then he went on to his dental education at the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, in Philadelphia.

Dr. Hipolito has 15 years of professional experience in General and Cosmetic Dentistry. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 1995, and continued on to the prestigious University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA in an accelerated 3-year program, graduating in 1998.

Dr. Penry received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from The Ohio State University in 2006 and has continued her education by taking additional courses in cosmetic restorations, veneers, and restoring implants. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain a beautiful and healthy smile. She is a resident of Laguna Beach where she loves to stay active by hiking and running. She also loves to read and is an avid volunteer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Dr. Penry takes pride in building trusting relationships with her patients and looks forward to providing comfortable and exceptional care for our patients.

Dr. Ravon received his dental degree from the University of Southern California in 1997. He then earned a certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Washington in 2002.

Dr. Wally Bashawaty completed his undergrad at UC Irvine and graduated from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry in 1998, where he received the Paul K. Hill Award for Outstanding Achievement in a four year dental program. He further continued his education at UCLA where he completed the Dental Implant Program.

Dr. Taylor is honored to be a faculty member for Spear, the most prestigious continuing education organization for dentists already in practice. Essentially, Dr. Taylor teaches other dentists the latest and greatest techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Wong is a graduate of the prestigious NYU Dental School and served his hospital residency at Coler-Goldwater Memorial Hospital. Dr. Wong is a native of southern California. He holds a B.A. in psychology and B.S. in animal physiology and neuroscience from UC San Diego. Over the last seven years he has been dedicated to achieving advanced dental training in aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, and specialty training in implants and periodontal-surgery along with courses to achieve ideal practice management skills.
