A Native of Southern California, Tony received his DDS from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1998. He helps many people make dynamic first impressions by enhancing the one thing everyone is attracted to – a naturally beautiful smile.

Dr. Alex Chan moved to Washington from Hong Kong at eight years of age. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington in 1994. It is also there that he met his wife Tracy. Now they have two daughters Annika and Celine. Dr. Alex Chan received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1998 from the University of Washington.

Dr. Linda, as she is better known, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles; she then attended the Loyola Dental School in Chicago, Illinois for her dental degree. She spent a year of general practice dentistry at the LAC/USC Medical Center. Dr. Linda has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry and is a certified Progressive Orthodontics practitioner. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) as well as the California Dental Association (CDA).

Dr. Pura Mayor-Chico has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years now. She received her license to practice dentistry in California in 1990. Dr. Mayor-Chico graduated from the University of the Philippines in March 1987, as one of the top students in her class. She was in the Top 10, in 7th place out of over a thousand candidates, of those who took the 1987 National Dental Board Exams. She migrated to the United States in 1988, and passed all the required exams by the National and California Dental Board of Examiners, the last of which she took in UCLA in 1990. She received her license to practice dentistry in June 1990.

My name is Dr. John Scalas. I was born and raised in Southern California and attended St. Cyprian School, St. John Bosco High School, and received my undergraduate degree in Biology from California State University in Long Beach.

Dr. Samuel Au received his Bachelor Degree from the University of California, Irvine in 1996. Dr. Au is a graduate of Marquette University School of dentistry in Wisconsin and he completed his post-doctoral residency in the prestigious Columbia University School of Dentistry in New York. He has also been certified in multiple post graduate courses in different field of dentistry including implant, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics & Invisalign.

Dr. Don Wood has been around dentistry all his life. His father, Dr. Wood Jr., was one of the first dentists in Cypress, practicing dentistry there since 1965 and retiring in 2000. Dr. Don Wood mentored under his father prior to getting his dental license in 1983, when he officially joined his father’s practice. They practiced together for over 18 years. Dr. Don Wood has taken over 1,000 hours of continuing education and has been recognized in many fields, including: Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellowship in The American Endodontic Society, Member in good standing of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Society, and an Eagle Scout.

Dr. Nick Devani is a graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his DDS in 1993. In addition to the skills he acquired in dental school, he has also taken the time to earn certifications in both laser dentistry and Invisalign, and he has completed the UCLA Esthetics Continuum and the UCLA Endodontics Continuum, giving him additional skills in both cosmetic dentistry and endodontics (root canal therapy).

Dr. Haeri practices all aspects of dentistry and specializes in creating beautiful smiles. A southern California native, Dr. Jake Sylwanowcz was born in Long Beach and raised in Cypress. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in biochemistry at California State University Long Beach and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. After graduating from dental school, he completed a postgraduate residency program at the Long Beach Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Susan Caldwell earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in chemistry at San Diego State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

Dr. Ty Caldwell earned both his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in physiology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

Dr. Binh Phan graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry and have been practicing dentistry over ten years in Los Angeles and Orange County. Dr. Phan’s philosophy of treating patients has always been that he would treat every patient with the same respect and professionalism as he would to his family and friends.

With the help of our professional staff, they also follow up to make sure that general pain is relieved, problems are resolved and your health improves.

I mentored under my father prior to getting my dental license, and officially joined the practice in 1982. We practiced together for 18 wonderful years.
