Dr. Ahuja grew up in the city of Los Angeles, where he spent most of his father’s dental practice. After finishing his high school studies, he was one of the fortunate few who knew exactly what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry. With an older sister also involved in the practice of dentistry, After finishing his high school studies, he gained admission in an accelerated program at the University of the Pacific located in Stockton, California finishing his Bachelors in Science in a little over two years. He went on to receive his doctorate in dental surgery from Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry located in the city of San Francisco. His pursuit of higher education and excellence brought him to New York City, where he finished his General Practice Residency at St. Lukes-Roosevelt hospital located in midtown. The residency program provided him with a hospital environment with a primary focus on sedation, trauma, and surgeries. To further enhance his surgical skills, he went on to complete a rigorous implant training program at New York University School of dentistry. With a special interest in research, he joined the International Congress of Oral Implantology, an organization formed and ran by world’s leading dental implantologists.
