She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language from Pacific Union College in the Napa Valley, during which time she spent a year studying abroad in Spain. Dr. Jung went on to attend Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Stephen H. Yu, D.D.S. graduated from Northwestern University, School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois in 1997 after attending University of California, Riverside to receive his bachelor’s degree in biology.

Dr. Avery Mittman, (Anesthesiologist) has been part of the Cottage Dental team for over 20 years as our board certified anesthesiologist. His unique training background makes him a wonderful addition to our team of family-oriented healthcare professionals. Dr. Mittman received his bachelor’s in Biology at UCI and continued on to graduate studies at UCLA. After his studies in biology, Dr. Mittman graduated from Chicago Medical School and carried out his anesthesiology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Johanna Paco attended the University of California, Los Angeles and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. In 1991, she graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School with recognition for Excellence in Oral Pathology. Dr. Paco is kind and gentle and is an active member in her church. She has been with Cottage Dental since 1997. When she’s not providing dental care, she works with her husband educating others about the importance of good nutrition and a healthy active lifestyle.

Dr. Kimberly Nguyen grew up in Huntington Beach and started practicing dentistry in 1991. She is an alumni of USC Dental School where she was recognized for her scholarship, leadership, and service. Affectionately known by her patients as Dr. Kim, she founded Cottage Dental upon the values of creating a warm and positive environment that redefines the standards of dental care.

Dr. Kirk’s commitment to his patient’s care and well-being stems from his deep-seeded enthusiasm for dentistry. Continuing the family tradition established by his father, Dr. Kirk attended Creighton University Dental School to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Since then, he continues to exceed the required Continuing Education units so that he can provide the highest level of care for his patients.

An Orange County native, Dr. Krutav Patel graduated from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, CA. He went on to graduate from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2009 after completing his undergraduate degree in Biology, also at the University of the Pacific.

Dr. Patel is native to the Northern Orange County area, having graduated from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton. Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hatae not only is a dentist in Fullerton, he also lives in Fullerton with his wife. As a licensed Invisalign, Velscope, and ZOOM! Whitening provider Dr. Hatae works hard to provide patients with high-end, quality products and services along with customized personal attention. He stays up to date with the most current dental technology through continuing education courses in all apsects of dentistry.

Dr. Chi has been working in the dental industry since 2006. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, reading, watching movies, and hiking.

Dr. Mashhadian has donated his services to treat children with facial clefts in Mexico with the Thousand Smile program.
