Dr. Moonhee Ko received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, in 2002. She graduated with honors and was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). After graduation, she worked as a general dentist and part-time faculty member at USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Ko then returned to USC to complete her residency in Endodontics and finished the specialty program in 2012. Dr Ko is also a board eligible candidate with the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Karen Huffman, a California native, received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Nevada Reno. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended USC School of Dentistry. While attending USC she was President of the USC Chapter of American Association of Women Dentists. She also participated in the Mobile Dental Clinic serving the dental needs of underprivileged children in Southern California. She also enjoyed working with Medically Compromised and Special Needs patients. Upon graduation she received the National Endodontic Award for top student in her class.

Graduating in 1996 from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She was recognized with Magna Cum Laude, an honorary award given to the top ten students of her class. She was awarded the “Excellence in Academic” Scholarship for her high achievements and respected by her peers.

Dr. Regina Tan has been caring for patients since 1988 and takes pride in giving her patients individualized care that fits their needs. With 20 years of experience and a passion for excellence Dr. Tan offers a full range of dental health services.

Dr. Beverly P. Gonzales graduated in 1999 from UCLA School of Dentistry. She is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association) and OCDS (Orange County Dental Society). Her charities include Operation Gratitude, American Heart Association, A3MHope and local organizations such as John F.Kennedy High School and Los Coyotes Elementary School. Dr. Gonzales keeps her dental skills and knowledge up to date by taking dental continuing education in all aspects of Restorative Dentistry as well as patient management.

Dr. Tricia Bato, our Periodontist, obtained her specialty degree from USC in 2007. She graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2004. She is a highly skilled Periodontist who performs complex periodontal procedures, from bone augmentation to gum surgery. She also does all of our implant procedures in the office. Dr. Bato makes all of her patients feel at ease, despite the complexity of some treatment plans. She has definitely made many patients Smile confidently again.

Dr. Otis Chong, our Endodontist, graduated in 2008 from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine with his Endodontic certificate and Masters of Medical Science in Oral Biology. He finished his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors in University of Pennsylvania, School of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Chong is a highly qualified specialist who performs all of the complex root canal cases in our office. He makes all of his patients feel comfortable and makes root canals seem easy.

Dr. Steve Irwin has been practicing dentistry in Orange County since 1991. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. He did his undergraduate work at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and in London, England at the University of England to receive his BS degree in Human Biology. He has special interest in orthodontics, dental implants, & cosmetic smile enhancement.

Dr. Chien-Ho Chen received his training in prosthodontics from the advanced prosthodontics program at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. After receiving his certificate in prosthodontics, Dr. Chen has gone on to broaden his dental expertise by also completing a fellowship in Implant Dentistry.

Our Dentist, Dr Suk Joong Lee, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – BC & Marquette University School of Dentistry – DDS.

A young lady came into the office with her mother in severe pain. Her lower anterior teeth were worn down. She couldn’t smile or talk due to pain. I gave them options on what we could do to get her out of pain, but sadly they couldn’t afford any of the options. I think the whole office felt her pain.
