Dr. Myers was born in Fullerton at St. Jude Hospital and grew up in neighboring La Habra, California.
Dr. Myers attended La Habra city public schools, graduating from La Habra High School, in 1987. From the age of 8 years old he knew he wanted to have a career in dentistry.
Dr. Myers continued his studies at the University of California Riverside, earning his degree in Biology, in 1991. While studying for his degree, he competed in the NCAA athletics, running both track and cross country, earning All American Honors.
Dr, Myers continued his professional studies in Chicago, Illinois at the prestigious Northwestern University School of Dentistry. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1995.
Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Myers returned to California and began General Practice Residency at the V.A. Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. This Residency provided an excellent opportunity to pursue advanced training in surgery, restorative dentistry and hospital based care.
After completing the G.P.R. Dr. Myers returned home to La Habra and began caring for patients in the private practice setting as well as holding the position of Dental Director at the Gary Center and Friends of Children non-profit dental clinics. Dr. Myers continues to work two Saturdays a month, at the Friends of Children, providing care and education to children with very little means.
Dr. Myers currently provides Cosmetic, Family and General Dental Care in his Fullerton practice.
Dr. Myers has a passion for continuing Dental education and avidly keeps up to date on technology and trends in dentistry.
In 2001, after completing 500 hours of continued education in various disciplines of dentistry, Dr. Myers became a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Currently Dr. Myers is pursuing his Mastership Award in the Academy of General Dentistry. In order to achieve this prestigious award he must complete an additional 600 hours of continued education in all disciplines of general dentistry. When Dr. Myers is not practicing dentistry he enjoys running marathons, sports, and spending time, at home, with his family.
