Welcome to Nellie Gail Orthodontics. Nellie Gail Orthodontics is the private practice orthodontic office of Richard L. Botzbach II, D.D.S., M.S., specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics for children and adults. Dr. “B” has been creating smiles in Aliso Viejo since 1995. Our somewhat confusing name comes from our previous location directly across from Nellie Gail Ranch. We relocated our office in 2009 to an office condominium in the 6B Liberty professional building overlooking the City of Aliso Viejo, just off of Aliso Creek Road.
We appreciate that choosing an orthodontist, and an orthodontic office, is an important decision. Our office philosophy is to treat you as we would like to be treated ourselves. Dr. Botzbach will be seeing you at every appointment and is always available to discuss your treatment. Our focus is on your chief concerns. You will be presented with limited and comprehensive treatment options when applicable, you will be given the pros and cons of treatment, and optional treatment will never be presented as being “necessary.”
At your initial examination, Dr. Botzbach will meet with you in a private consultation room to discuss your concerns and treatment goals. He will then review with you treatment options to achieve these goals. We offer traditional miniature braces with colored rubber bands, Wildsmiles® for the young or young at heart, traditional and Damon® clear braces, Damon System® and Speed System® self-ligating braces, invisible/lingual (behind the teeth) Speed System® and Harmony® custom lingual braces, as well as Invisalign® and ClearCorrect® aligners. MTM® clear aligners and spring retainers may also be recommended when minimal correction is desired.
