Dr. Jim grew up in the southern California area. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Cal Poly Pomona, He attended Dental School at The Ohio State University- College of Dentistry, also graduating Magna Cum Laude. From there, he did his Periodontics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His published research there focused on pain control in dentistry.
Dr. Minutello is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He is recognized by his peers for his advanced techniques in Bone Regeneration and Dental Implant Surgery. Having placed over 15,000 dental implants since 1986, his experience and knowledge is enormous in this ever-changing field. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He has been practicing in the inland area of Southern California since 1987.
Dr. Jim’s hobbies include golfing, running, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three children.
