Karen Jung, DDS

Dr. Karen Jung is a native of Southern California. She is fluent in Spanish, having received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language from Pacific Union College in Napa Valley, during which time she spent a year studying abroad in Spain. Dr. Jung went on to attend Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following graduation, Dr. Jung practiced at a non-profit clinic in Sacramento, CA, where she served as offsite Clinical Faculty for UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. After returning to her beloved Southern California, Dr. Jung is currently an Associate Professor at West Coast University’s School of Dental Hygiene, where she serves as a Clinical Supervising Dentist and teaches the Spanish Curriculum. She has also had the opportunity to participate in various dental outreach programs by providing free dental care to underserved populations both here and internationally, including Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and CareNow in Los Angeles. Participating in Cottage Dental’s Free Dental Day is one of the highlights of her year.  Here at Cottage Dental and Kid’s Corner, she is passionate about practicing caring and compassionate dentistry for patients of all ages. In her spare time, Dr. Jung enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband Matthew, spending time with friends and family, Pilates, cooking, and various arts and crafts.
