Dr. Phyllis Kawada DDS

Dr. Phyllis Kawada is a licensed specialist in pediatric dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She resides locally in Hacienda Heights, with husband Mark and son Matthew and daughter Camille. Dr. Kawada is a proud alumna of USC where she received a B.S. in Biological Science and continued on to complete her D.D.S. at the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Kawada trained at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center, completing a 3-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry. She also received an M.S. for research in Oral Biology for studying oral effects on liver and kidney transplant patients. Dr. Kawada also holds a faculty position at USC as an Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry and is on the medical staff at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier. Dr. Kawada also serves on the Executive Board for the Friends of the Children’s Museum at La Habra. Outside of the office, Dr. Kawada is also a talented musician and loves to follow USC Football.
