Dr. Delsol received her undergraduate degree in Biology from UCLA and her D.D.S. degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Long Beach VA Medical Center and University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Delsol also completed a rotation on the cleft lip and palate team at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center.
Dr. Delsol has been active in private practice since 1987, including 5 years in San Clemente. From 1992-1995 she served as Chief of the Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Section at the Long Beach VA Medical Center. Dr. Delsol has served as President of theWestern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (1999) and the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (2001). She is actively involved in national committees of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and in the local component of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Delsol is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). She served on the ABOMS Examination Committee from 1998-2005, then was elected as a Director of the Board. She will serve as President of the ABOMS in 2011-2012. Dr. Delsol has lectured extensively to dentists and related health care professionals. She has a particular interest in dental implantology.
