Dr. Dean Dai is a highly trained Prosthodontist, one of only 9 recognized specialties by the American Dental Association, in Dental implant restorations, Esthetic dentistry, Dentures, Veneers and Full mouth reconstructions. Drawing on his extensive training and artistic vision, Dr. Dai delivers outstanding results with meticulous care. His training is tempered with the experience that he has gained over the years by working with some of the best clinicians in Dentistry.
Dr. Dean Dai completed a B.S. degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and a B.A. degree in History from the University of California at Los Angeles. He continued his education and attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN where he received his D.D.S degree. After dental school, Dr. Dai opted to continue his training at the highly regarded University of Southern California program for Prosthodontics where he learned from some of the top Prosthodontists in the country. Following the completion of this 3-year, full-time program, Dr. Dai received certification as a Prosthodontist. He is the recipient of the Alex Koper Scholarship and the American College of Prosthodontics undergraduate achievement award.
After completing his residency, he was an Associate Doctor at various high-end practices prior to settling in to the Huntington Beach area. Dr. Dai also worked in the Beverly Hills area and handled challenging esthetic and implant cases with a high degree of professionalism. Dr. Dai often serves as a consultant to general dentists and other dental specialists.
In 2005-06 he was appointed Associate Professor in removable prosthodontics at USC. Dr. Dean Dai is a board eligible Prosthodontist and is working on board certification.
