Dr. Teresa Tran, DDS

Dr. Tran’s passion for orthodontics began from her own treatment in braces when she was a teenager. Having experienced first hand how orthodontics can transform a person’s smile and boost one’s confidence, she is excited to provide that service to her own patients to help them reveal their beautiful smiles. Knowing that orthodontics was her calling, Dr. Tran chose the University of the Pacific’s (UOP) accelerated the Pre-Dental program. While at UOP, she received her Bachelors of Science graduating summa cum laude in 3 years majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. She also studied abroad in Alicante, Spain where she learned Spanish and studied Spanish cuisine. Dr. Tran completed her dental education at the UCLA School of Dentistry. During her time at UCLA, she was President of the Vietnamese Dental Student Association and was able to provide dental treatment to the locals in Da Nang, Vietnam. Dr. Tran was chosen to represent UCLA in a Dental Exchange program where she spent time at the Universities of Asahi and Meikai Dental schools in Japan. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Tran completed her Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Loma Linda University.
