Dr. Stephen M. Schott, DDS

My family’s introduction to Laguna Beach was camping at Crystal Cove in 1953. This later became our summer vacation, living in a 12X25 foot cabin for three months every summer. I was born and raised in Southern California and at the age of 9 was introduced to my first orthodontic experience. The process of impression taking and model making fascinated me so much, I decided to make dentistry my career. While taking pre-dental courses at Orange Coast College, I developed an artistic talent with ceramics. In 1971 I exhibited my art at the Sawdust Festival, completed my bachelor degree from U.C.I. and later obtained my dental degree in 1976 from U.C. San Francisco.
