Dr. RODRIGO A. LAGOS, DDS

Dr. Lagos is a dental specialist whose passion is helping people to get their mouth healthy and give them a beautiful smile in a comfortable fashion. Dr. Lagos is proud to be a periodontist, which is a dental specialist who helps control gum disease, places dental implants and performs plastic periodontal surgery. Dr. Lagos obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) professional degree with honors from the University of Concepcion, Chile in 1995. He practiced as a general dentist several years before dedicating his career to the field of periodontics and dental implants. Dr. Lagos was actively involved at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry.  He was an intern in the advanced postgraduate studies in periodontology. Then, he was selected for a Research Fellowship position at the UCLA Periodontics Department in 2000 where he collaborated in a series of cutting-edge research for the fields of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. In 2002, Dr. Lagos was appointed part-time Lecturer for the periodontics undergraduate program and collaborated in the education of clinical periodontology at the UCLA School of Dentistry. At UCLA, he also received extensive training in Implantology and has been successfully placing implants since 1995.
