Dr. Rick J. Nichols, DDS

I attended Crafton Hills College and Fresno State University, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in biology/zoology. I then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1993. I was the first resident ever accepted to Loma Linda University’s new post-graduate program in pediatric dentistry. After becoming a certified pediatric dental specialist, I opened my practice in Redlands, CA in 1995. Education is a continuous process. I constantly make it a priority to stay informed about all the latest advances in pediatric dentistry, to improve the quality care I provide and the outcomes of the treatments I perform for my patients. I constantly stay up to date with all the latest products and techniques by reading scientific journals and attending more than 30 hours of continuing education courses per year. I also teach continuing education courses to my colleagues, to WIC educators and counselors, as well as to various stay-at-home mothers and MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups throughout the Inland Empire.
