Dr. Peter C. Nissler

Doctor Nissler did his undergraduate study at the University of California, Santa Barbara before attending Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in 1967. He has a private practice in Encino, California that has a strong focus on prosthetics, esthetics and craniomandibular dysfunction. He is certified in laser dentistry and sleep apnea appliance therapy.He has held faculty appointments at Northwestern University, University of Colorado, University of Southern California, and the University of California at Los Angeles.He originally practiced in Evergreen, Colorado before relocating to California in 1986. He belongs to several study clubs and professional organizations including the American Equilibration Society, and the International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion. His teaching has focused primarily on the Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Oro-Facial pain along with complex restorative dental procedures.He has lectured and taught extensively since 1976 in Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States. He has been actively involved internationally as an organizer, instructor and board member of several teaching organizations.
