Dr. Leslie Apody is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. He has been practicing in Encino for over 30 years. Dr. Apody is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. He and his wife Julie have two children, Jamie is a sports anchor for ABC in Philadelphia and Jeremy is a children’s talent agent for Abrams Artists in Hollywood. Dr Apody is a grandpa of four. He loves spending his free time playing golf and enjoying grandpa time.
My practice philosophy is treating my patients with care and compassion as if they were my family. I believe in preventative care and conservative treatment. There is an old saying ” If it ain’t broke don’t fix it “. Over the years I came to realize that this saying has merit. However if it ” is broke” we should use our communication tools such as video cameras and digital x rays to show our patients the problem and discuss the treatment options. As a dental professional, I try to stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. I like to laugh with my patients to instill a calming effect in an otherwise fearful setting. I try to give a painless injection to set the tone for a good patient visit.
